I've made mistakes,
many of them.
And you've always forgiven me.
But this is a biggie,
and I'm afraid it's so big,
you won't even want to look at me.
I know I've screwed up real bad this time,
and I'm so sorry!
I can say "sorry" a million times,
and I still doubt you'll forgive me.
I' afraid to ask you,
afraid of what you'll say,
afraid I'll lose you.
But I must know, will you forgive me?
Please say yes,
or I don't know what I'll do with myself.
Will you forgive me?
Will you forgive me?
Will you forgive me?
No, I don't need an answer right now,
but I do want the answer to be yes.
Please forgive me?

I sometimes sit and wonder
why I say the things I do.
The cruel and thoughtless things I say
I know are hurting you.
