Car reviews: Chevrolet Corvette

When you think of American muscle, what comes to mind? I don't know about you but I'm thinking about a Corvette. The Chevrolet Corvette has always been the top notch muscle car ever since it was first developed in 1953. Since then, the manufacturer has found new ways of making Corvettes more comfortable and technologically advanced as possible.The 2008 models are the most powerful and overall best Corvettes ever produced.

The There are 3 different Corvette models available. Starting out with the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. This is the most affordable Corvette model on the market today. The Coupe is available with 8 different exterior colors and features a removable body-color roof panel. The colors include Arctic White, Black, Velocity Yellow Tintcoat, Machine Silver Metallic, Victory Red, Atomic Orange Metallic, Jetstream Blue Metallic Clear Coat, and Crystal Red Metallic Clear Coat. Ebony Leather is standard interior on all 2008 Corvette Coupe Models. The Corvette Coupe is equipped with a 6.2-Liter all aluminum block V8 engine that produces a satisfying 430 Horsepower and has an available exhaust upgrade which produces 6 more Horsepower and is available with an automatic or 6-Speed manual transmission. The price of the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe starts at an affordable $46,100.

The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is available with about the same options as the Coupe. The 2008 Corvette Convertible features the same colors as the coupe and comes standard with Ebony Leather interior with the option of Tan Leather. It is equipped with the same 6.2 liter V8 and produces the same 430 Horsepower as the Coupe and is available with an automatic or 6-Speed manual transmission. The price of the Chevrolet Corvette Convertible starts at $53,510

The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is the most powerful out of the 3 models. The Z06 was co-developed with the C6-R race car. It is the most expensive, but being equally powerful and advanced as most European Sports cars that are well over $100,000, you are definitely getting more bang for your buck. The 2008 Corvette Z06 is available in 6 colors. These colors are Velocity Yellow Metallic, Machine Silver Metallic, Jetstream Blue Metallic Tintcoat, Black, Victory Red, and Atomic Orange Metallic. The Z06 also comes standard with Ebony Black leather with an Ebony with Red leather option. The 2008 Corvette Z06 is equipped with a monstrous 7.0 Liter 427 Cubic Inch Engine that produces a powerful 505 Horsepower, and is only available with a 6-Speed manual transmission. Road Tests have proved that the Z06 has a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 198 MPH. With a starting price of $71,275, The 2008 Corvette Z06 is the most affordable high end sports car on the market today.
