Born and raised a Christian I can only use Christian based references in determining the one true God. I have however eluded to parallel beliefs though sparsely, as I believe mankind has segregated the truth into many forms of understanding to suit varying populations interpretation through folklore which has expounded this truth to their way of thinking.
Ge 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Why is it that man cannot accept that God is a being? Not in the likeness of man, but man in the sprit is the likeness of God (Let us make man in our image, after our likeness). Why is it so difficult to see or understand with the spiritual eye that we have been blessed with, yet functions in so few?
Adam used to walk with God in the garden, they used to share things and Adam would create names for the many things that the Lord was creating. Adam was able to do this because he was functioning in the Image of God and those around God, of whom it is presumed were Jesus and the Holy Spirit among others, were there from the beginning creating the pluralism in the scriptures.
We know not how long this partnership was in time, but it is clearly written that it happened. We also know that from Adam a rib was taken to clone the woman. A rib from his side, not from his head to rule a woman or from his foot to walk over her, but from his side that they may live and reign side by side as they carried out the work of their creator in love.
However we also know that sin was on the doorstep in the shape of satan who lured and tempted the woman to go against Gods instruction and equally Adam did the same thing. So what do we see next in the bible?
Ge 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the PRESCENCE of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Ge 3:10 And he said, I HEARD thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
I have capitalised a couple of words above the first being 'presence.' Now from walking in the garden with the Lord Adam now refers to God as presence, a presence is a spiritual term; does this not say things to you? God was in the spirit as he walked through the garden. Secondly Adam says we heard you, not saw you. He was unable to see because of his own nakedness, his earthly character had been initiated through disobedience; which had blinded the manifestation of God. God then did something later after judgement; He cemented man into a perpetual blindness by covering Adams spirituality with skin that was cloned from a slain goat.
Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Then God was able to say, "from the dust you came and to the dust yea shall go"
Now don't take this as Gospel, it is a theory only, the only thing that stands in its way is after Adam took of the apple his eyes were opened and they saw themselves as naked. Now this could mean that they had been walking in the spirit and seeing through the spiritual eye or the third eye that apparently is linked to the top of the scalp where the soft spot is when a child is born. To that point though physical in nature and creation, having once committed the act of disobedience they then focused through their physical eyes, severing for always the ability to see God in the physical.
Two concepts and there are probably others. What it tells us though, is we were blinded to God who is in the spirit through Adam and Eve, but he is none-the-less real.
The first five books of the bible are the same for any religion on this earth that has ever risen. Whether the Torah came first or was translations from another source say Chinese, which is the closest through translation, does not matter. What it proves is there is only one God. It is from this base concept through all understandings and persuasions that we can determine that there is really only one true God.
So why is he so silent these days? Why do many not hear him anymore? On that note show me someone who does. I think the answer lye's in scripture itself when Moses was in the Mountain and the Lord said to him:-
Exodus 32:7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiff-necked people:
Mankind is again at the foot of the mountain waiting for someone to come and put matters straight again. Mankind is partying and revelling, whoring among themselves even abominations unto the Lord. This also within the ranks of so called teachers of the faith. There is nowhere untainted these days, be it by action and first hand experience or sufferance through visual concept through advertising and more sordid material which not so long ago would not even be featured in a magazine.
Why is God so quiet, simply because of the last paragraph? When he flooded the earth back in the days of Noah he made a pledge that he would not try to wipe out mankind again and left his pledge with the sign of the rainbow. He did not say he would stay and watch the fornication and the depletion of mankind and his love for his God.
That contract with man ceased about four hundred years before Christ. Christ also made it plain that despite his teachings and instruction there was one thing that he said which pointed to man having to survive on his own until the next coming. Mt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
That is happening today, which is why so many find it hard to believe or feel the presence of God. There is so much contamination, which sadly stands in the way.
Let us pray that when God sends another messenger according to prophecy, that we will not in our infinite wisdom turn him away and that the faithful few, a 144,000 will be there to lead the way.
