GARDASIL WARNING

Before agreeing to put any type of medication into anyone's body, and I mean, any type, you need to be informed IN DETAIL and ask QUESTIONS.

When the HIV/AIDS fear hit the market in the early 80's, people acted like it only affected the homosexual population so, if you weren't 'gay', you didn't worry. While working in the physician's office one day, I was exposed to hepatitis. The counteractive drug in the event of an exposure was the GG shot, aka gamma globulin. 2cc's in the hip, please! I went for the medication but before I could draw it up, the physician yelled at me to "put it down and take your chances,". Believe me when I thought that was a strange statement especially since I was a single Mom and the soul provider for my daughters but I asked more probing questions, mainly letting him know that it was easier to fire me than let me die from hepatits if he just didn't like me and he began to give me details that hadn't been made public yet.

Apparently SOMEONE knew that the HIV/AID virus could live in blood products and be transferred to anyone through blood transfusions, remember Ryan White the teenager who contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion, or any inoculation made with whole blood such as gamma globulin, MMR's, DPT's, diabetic insulin. The medical world had been informed but not the public. The gamma globulin in his office was manufactured in 1984 with whole blood serum but had not been tested for the HIV virus. He basically saved my life that day, not only by stopping me but by reminding me to ask questions before I let anyone touch me or put something inside of me. Many more years would pass before the blood banks would test their blood supply for the HIV/AIDS virus.

Before I go any further, let me give you a little more history on myself. I've been in the medical field for over 28 yrs and a medical instructor for 6 years. What sent me to that side of the world was one simple accident that ended up killing my father and I was now curious to see what happened on THAT side of medicine. Not the one where you think all physicians are God and whatever they say is the law, but rather, the other side of the fence where you could actually talk to a physician, whether he/she was your employer or someone you got to know through the hospitals. Let me tell you, there are two different worlds out there, but then, I also have to add one more...the PHARMACEUTICAL organization. The companies making the pills, serums, drugs and getting rich.
