Discovering the truth about Santa Claus
Children of all ages believe in the jolly old fat man that can slide down chimneys without getting stuck and who travels the world in one night on a sled with reindeer's leading the way, flying through the air at rapid speed.
Santa Claus, the guy dressed in a red suit, the guy who is fat and has a big white beard, the guy who if you are good will bring you whatever you ask for and if you are bad has known to bring you a lump of coal in your sock, that is hung on the wall.
Children world wide believe in Santa Claus or St.Nick as some may call him,They believe that he is real and even have asked their parents time and time again as they are growing up,mommy is there really a Santa Claus?
In order to have your child believe just abit longer, or to not hurt their feelings ,we as a parent say yes dear there really is a Santa Claus and that year all is well on the home front, until next year and they either ask you again or they just don't bother.
When my child first found out there was no Santa Claus,he was so unhappy that Christmas morning and for along time that day he would not tell us why.

Shawn asked if he could go gather some wood from the basement, so we could light a fire in the fireplace for a special occasion. We lite the fireplace on special occasions only, as it did not throw much heat and was really just a waste of time lighting it for no reason ,except to make the living room look cozy for one night. We told him yes he could go this time and get the wood, but not to make a habit out of asking, as the basement was no place for a little boy to be as it was damp and musky smelling down there.
Shawn went to the basement and he was down there along time, when he finally came up he had a strange look on his face, but said nothing.
Later that night as I tucked my children into bed,Shawn said to me,mom do you think Santa will bring me my bike this year? As I have been good!
I said I don't see why he wouldn't,I'm sure he will this year and I kissed him goodnight.
Around 10 pm I checked on my children and they seemed to be sleeping so I went downstairs and gave the thumbs up to start moving the presents out of
