What are the causes of terrorism?

The truth is that we are the people who are responsible for terrorism. Our wars become the nightmares of others and then revenge. What we believe is war on terror is actually war FOR terror.

Some believe terrorists have no feelings, some believe terrorists just do what they do for fun and most believe that they want to impose terror. I believe neither. Terrorists are like all of us. In fact they have more feelings then most of us. Then why do they do kill people?

I would like to ask you ask you a question. What would you do if I were to kill your family and leave you alive?
Take me to court or kill me, right. Well I would say the same.

Well the same happens to terrorists. For example lets take Afghanistan; When Russia invaded Afghanistan they slaughtered thousands of Afghanis. Before the war, an ordinary man with a loving family would go home and enjoy a well deserved meal. After the war, he did not have his home, family or meal. No loving wife to look forward to , children misplaced or killed, everything vanished. His enemies, the Russians, apologize and disappear. What does he do? He can not take a whole country to court, so he decides to revenge his family's death by the second option, "kill."

And heres where he starts taking the wrong steps. Instead of taking the revenge out on the army and the government, he starts taking it out on the people. A wrong choice. He kills more sons and fathers and destroys more families, and ultimately what happens? Yes, war. Both hearts filled with blood thirsty revenge collide.

Somewhere in the middle of the wrong steps and revenge comes Osama Bin Ladin. A guy who founds Al Qaeda and gives the people hope and weapons by using his wealth. He motivates them to kill the innocent and inroduces to them a term "Jihad." Jihad would be the least appopriate term for his motivation as it is not allowed to kill the innocent in Islam. He persuades them to perform suicide bombings whereas suicide is declared as one of the unforgivable sins in Islam.

So now if you look at it, those terrorists are even more emotional then you actually think they are. Instead of having the luxury of having a loving family they are starved of love. Thus, the next time you like at a terrorist attack please remind yourself that you could have been in his place. The truth hurts, but this is what the truth is. More painful but not less.
How can we stop terrorism? Answer is simple but complex to perform.
Inform others of their reasons and stop the war we believe would reduce terror.
