This is the easiest question I have answered in a long time. Yes God knows the future. Unquestionably yes. God himself said, "I am the alpha and the omega, I am the beginning and the end." The truth of the matter is God is not constrained by time. God created time.
To question if God knows the future is almost a blasphemy. At least I know for sure that the God I pray to undoubtedly knows the future. God is omniscient and omnipotent. He lives in every moment everywhere in the past, everywhere in the present and most importantly in every moment of the future. To understand that God is not limited by time makes it easier to understand other mysteries of the bible. Such as, where did God come from? He always has been! It is so hard to comprehend that there was nothing before God because all we know is measured by time. God is, always was and always will be. The first words in the bible are, "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth", it should be understood that "the beginning" referred to was the actually beginning of time. So God not only created the heavens and earth but also time and is the master of all of what he created.
Proof that God knows the future is evident in the writings of his prophets. The prophets are a very important part of the Bible and help us understand the nature of God. There are 17 books at the end of the Old Testament that are the "prophetic books". These prophets not only show that God knows the future but also shows mankind has the free will to choose his own future. It was not uncommon for God to use a prophet to speak to his people and warn them of impending doom. The prophet would tell the people the path their nation was on would end in horror but if they changed their ways and asked God for forgiveness the future would once again be bright and fruitful. This is one of the most important teachings of the entire Bible anyone can use in their personal life. Time and time again God gave warnings to his people and also gave them a chance to redeem themselves. He does this to each of his people to this day. We were all born into sin and have a terrifying future but if we turn to God and ask his forgiveness and guidance we will once again have a future to look forward to. Many times we will stray from the path the same as Israel did, and we will still have a future with God if we ask for his help. So God not only knows the future. He knows all possibilities of all futures!
