Of our life
To grow
Oh so slow
Through the years,
The good
Making wood
The bad
Leaves so sad
The flower
Brings the hour
To pray
Deeds to weigh
Till the end

My strength is gone from me
Dissipated, exhausted
Swept away, of no use within
Fit only for

The bounty of flowering seeds
Scatter with purpose to the four winds
