When a quarterback has a future hall of famer as his main target, it make's everyones life a little easier ON THE FIELD. Even with all the distractions that Terrell Owens created, I still believe Donovan McNabb misses Owens. Everyone can obviously notice McNabb had the best year of his career with T.O., and I am darn sure that McNabb would be rather happy posting another year like he had, becoming the first quarterback to throw for more then 30 touchdowns with less then 10 interceptions. As time goes on I believe that McNabb misses T.O. less and less especially with playmakers such as Brian Westbrook, Kevin Curtis, Reggie Brown, and other receivers who step up big (Greg Lewis on Monday night vs. Green Bay).
When looking at this situation you have to take into consideration that wherever T.O. has went has been successful and made all of his quarterbacks better, Jeff Garcia in San Fransisco, Tony Romo in Dallas. Owens goes out and plays his game every Sunday, it's just all that time between Monday and Saturday you have to keep an eye out. Although I say he is a distraction to any team he plays for, I believe alot of that has to do with how media wants to portray him. He is not well liked by more then enough people but every time he steps on that field there will always be people cheering for him.
People may view Terrell Owens as greedy and selfish, which he might be but on the field you want players who want the ball, and frankly if I was a coach I would be more then happy to get him the ball when he can take it the distance on any given play. His mix of size and speed is rare for a receiver because he can beat a defensive back by running past him or running through him like a running back. On some goal line formations the Dallas Cowboys line him up as a tight end which creates all sorts of problems because he will out run a linebacker anyday. There are numerous ways plays which a quarterback can take advantage of by having a receiver with his skill set.
McNabb is more then capable of playing without T.O., it's just the amount of pressure T.O. took off McNabb when you have that reliable receiver ready to make plays. Now that the Philadelphia Eagles have recently added explosive players such as DeSean Jackson and Lorenzo Booker in 2008 off season, McNabb has enough weapons to take the pressure of his shoulders and succeed as well as dominate even with out a future hall of famer.

Does Donovan McNabb miss Terrell Owens?
by Michael Daly
There is something absurd in the notion that Donovan McNabb might wish Terrell Owens was still with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The two don't miss each other and will never be expected to have Christmas Dinner together or even have birthday card exchanges.
