As the day progresses on
my body becomes dry,
my mind tired,
eyes confused,
possessed.
Possessed by the one
who caught my eye,
my thoughts,
my dreams,
me.
Me,
simple,
plain,
focused,
relaxed.
Relaxed
as my world crumbled,
pieces falling,
breaking,
destroyed.
Destroyed by one's self,
never wanting,
ignoring,
life.
Life,
happy,
sad,
lonely,
gone.

A bout of shining sun
Playing peek-a-boo
Between
