In the far distance of life
I close the blinds,
unplug time,
and disconnect the human contact.
In the far distance of life
I lye my head,
close my eyes,
and live another life.
In the far distance of life

watching the chase
of night and day.
In the far distance of life

In the far distance of life
I hide beneath the covers
waiting for the world to stop,
nonexistent beyond my bed.
In the far distance of life
I see only the end of day
with no following
nor succeeding.
