Time management is more important than money, and you need to use it well to succeed. You can always borrow or get more money, but your time is a limited resource with only 24 hours each day. Your ability to focus on the core essentials in your home business is crucial to your success. I will offer your some tips on Time Management to help you build your home based business to success. One: Each day set priorities to do the things necessary for you to make a profit in the business. Profits are essential to keep your business competitive, with sufficient growth to stay in business. An excellent priority is to get sales into the business, so you can grow and continually expand your business. Each day strive to get the maximum sales from current customers and new ones. Two: Take the time to find people who can help you service your customers and sell your products or services. You can only sell so much yourself, so be willing to hire or contract out with sales professional who know your product or service, and can help your sell. Three: Write your own business plan and follow it. What's needed in your business? What are your sales this year? How will you attain it? How many products or services in your product line? How will you price them? How will you distribute your products? East Coast? USA? Globally? How will you market your product? Advertising? How will you sell your products?Use your business plan to help you reach your goals. Four: Real time management helps you manage your way out of common interruptions so you can do the high payoff work that is essential to stay profitable and succeed. Common interruptions include: Doing too much, procrastination, meetings, paperwork, emails, poor communications, leaving tasks uncompleted, and others. You must control them. Five: Each day use a "To-Do" list of the most important work needed, and start on the #l priority, and keep working on it to the completion, then and only then go on to the next most important priority. Don't be afraid to delegate other less important work to others in your business. The key is sending the time where its needed, and getting the high payoff from the work. Six: Keep reviewing your time-wasters, the blocks of time you wasted because you didn't realize it would take too long to do. Seal up those time-wasters and interruptions so you can get control over your business, and spend time where it will payoff for your and your business. Seven: Before you start a project or assignment, ask yourself if this is important enough to do, and then determine what is the fastest way to do it, and get the best results. Your time is money, and money is time. Use your time well.
