WE ALL COME FROM THE GROUND
Seeds,
breed,
life,
tweed,
mead,
for the cattle,
so we dont have to battle,
starvation,
the elusive killer,
what a thriller,
to live without food and water
try
but breath by breath
you realize
speaking is tough
walking tougher
stiffness in the neck, back, and thighs
all fall to there knees
looking to the sky for an answer,
before exhaustion strikes,
and they all fall
back
to
the
earth
seeds
of a new life
a new day
a new way
