Goodbye My Friend
The time we shared was short and sweet.
Our words tangled tongues,
Our smiles were contagious,
Our quick eye catching glances were beautiful.
Walking side by side as if one,
Messages to greet and messages to sleep,

I close my eyes,
Only my sweet tears I taste.
My heart will not forget you,
It still beats strong.
Just one last thing to say,
Goodbye my friend,
