I hear you...
In the softest whisper of night sounds,
As the pale moon fades in the sky,
In the whirring wings of a hummingbird,
Or a restless infant's cry.
I hear you...
In the love sonnets penned by poets,
Or the waves that caress the shore,
In exploding holiday fireworks,
As their shimmering sparkles soar.
I hear you...
In the swaying grass of the pampas,
Or on a blustery, wintry day,
In a peaceful chapel at sunset,
Where I pause to reflect and to pray.
I hear you...
In the symphony's eloquent music,
As the fog horns bleat in the night,
In the ripple of laughter of children,
In their squeals of excited delight.
I hear you...
Even when there is just silence,
And no sound pierces the air,
You are such a part of my being,
I hear you when nothing is there!

A quiet voice,
So still and small;

Your breath
elbows me in the rib.
I hear you.
You want me to quit
smoking, drinking, overeating.
You want me to be good and
Beep
I hear you coffee pot.
I'm ready for a cup.
Beep
I hear you microwave.
My oatmeal's hot.
Beep
I hear you washing machine.
The
I HEAR YOUR VOICES
It started as a child,
I would wander wondering
between the stones.
Reading names of those who
walked this
