Global Warming as scientifically questioned is not a hoax. However, these days the question seems to be, "is MAN-MADE global warming a hoax?" Surely it is. Global warming and global cooling happens. It is normal for the globe to rise or drop a few degrees due to various reaons such as the cycle of the sun, the earth and the state of the solar system in general.

I personally believe that most people who believe in man-made global warming must be quite narcissistic. You must think very highly of your own "footprint" on the planet. The Earth has been around for billions of years and humans only thousands. Our industry only got into the real swing of things about a hundred years ago and already we have pretty much killed the Earth according to pro-environmental scientists. We must be very powerful beings if we can have the Earth on the brink of destruction in such short order! Especially when considered how relatively few humans there are on Earth. The population density of Earth is about 105 people per square mile of land. Considering the Earth is only about 25 % covered with land on it's surface, that is a lot of destruction for each individual person.

I must also challenge everyone reading this to release yourself from the mindset of a "first world country" and consider the millions of people that live in poverty and leave no carbon trails. There are billions of people that have no cars, no air conditioning, no heating, don't use plastic bags at Wal-Mart and do most of their work with low tech machinery. Yes, very few of us "haves" must be doing a lot of Earth killing to make up for all the "have nots"!

You must also consider the source of this man-made global warming kick. I am under the impression there is a lot of federal grants that are going to scientists to research the cause of global warming, what we should do about it, etc. If a scientist got a grant to research global warming, researched for a year, and came to the conclusion there was no man-made global warming, wouldn't he lose his funding? In effect lose his job? On the flip side, if a scientist found out global warming was man-made and there should be diligent research on this to head off the Earth's destruction at the curb, wouldn't he assure himself not only a job, but a lot of attention to boot? I believe this was attempted about thirty years ago but failed. I seem to recall on the cover of a widely circulated magazine a warning of the next Ice Age looming near. After the Ice Age hysteria
