It is very important to listen to what your teenage daughter has to say. How do i know i know because i am one. The most important rule to remember is to never ask question let them talk to you, because if leave them alone then it will drive them crazy. It will drive them crazy because if something important happens in their life then they will want to tell everybody they can but if you push them then it seems like you are going to listen and then turn around and lecture and relate this to your teenage life.

And let me tell you that is one of the worst things that you can do. The only time you should ask about their drama is if something like drugs, physical violence, and eating disorders is involved other than that be quiet. They will tell you in their own way and time.One thing that happened to me in this past year is that i became friends with some people that were not very nice and they ended up making fun of me and putting my purse behind a toilet. In the end i ended up telling my mother because she is very smart and even though she knew something was going on and was bothering me be she kept quiet.

Because she knew if she asked questions then i would get even more annoyed then i already was. So in the end i ended up telling her everything when i was ready and felt like i was ready to talk. Also while doing this you also have to remember to listen always because is you dont listen then your daughter will think that you are ignoring her and that you dont care. Which will lead your daughter to never talk about her drama again. She might also get annoyed about that because teenage girls love to talk and sometimes if they dont talk then is will drive them crazy which will only make their situation worse.

So if you dont listen to your daughter that can lead to many problems such as feeling unloved or like you dont care. Also it can also make her situation which she is trying to talk to you about worse. Also though if you ask to many questions and try to get to involved in your teenage daughters life then you will just drive her away. So if you want to know what is going on the best thing to do is to always listen but never ask to many questions.
