Worship is one dimension of our Christian life that has been much taught about, carried out yet failing to reach the desired height of the activity. To many of us, worship is worship. What is so mysterious about it? We come on Sundays, Cell group days, Prayer meeting nights and sing some songs and that to many of us is worship.

To reach a spiritfilled satisfying worship is to be able to explore into the very deepest and secretive area of God's heart and satisfy Him. This sounds like a hi-fi term but we fail in worship if we do not worship God as He commands us.

Some churches or Christians even take worship lightly. As long as we have sung a few hymns and songs and prayed for the sick that is worship service. Beloved, worship is a service. It is our service to God. It is that part of our spirit that reminds us and compel us to keep burning our incense in the Holy of Holies. Our spiritual life is to remain in the presence of God at all times, not some of the time or finally it will be not in any time. It is not like what we do physically everyday go out of our house, enter our house again, go out again, then realize we forgot to take something, then enter the house again.

Our life is to be a worship before our God. Not just sometimes, but all the time. Is worship so important? I did not know that God consider worshipping Him as so very important until I read in Exodus 7 to 10 that God has to instruct Moses to tell the pharaoh to let go of His people so that they may do what play church? No, so that they may WORSHIP Him. Key number 1 : God wants us to be set free, have liberty in our spirit and soul for one purpose TO WORSHIP HIM ! And worship to God is so important that the pharaoh and the nation of Egypt had to suffer ten plagues and tribulations before he finally realize it is futile to prevent God's people from worshipping Him. As in Exodus 4:21, God sees all of us as His firstborn, His sons of glory.

Why must we worship God? The very simple truth is found in Exodus 23:2526 :-
Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

God promises us four things if we worship Him.

HIS BLESSING WILL BE ON OUR FOOD AND WATER.
Whatever we eat and drink will be blessed by God. Whether you eat to live or live to eat, God will bless your food. Here, let us be reminded that it is not only physical food and water that God
