Fast paced, Intense, Violent, Humorous, Sexy, And Totally Cool, these are just a few of the words that sum up 2005's "Crank" Starring Jason Statham as the hitman who gets screwed over by his boss and injected with a virus that will kill him if his heart rate drops.

As you can imagine just from this brief synopsis that this is gonna be a hell of a movie, I knew it would be when I first heard of it and when I watched it I was not disappointed at all in fact it reached and exceeded my highest expectations, its heart-pounding and it is so much fun.

It has so many knock-you-off-your-feet scenes that you can't believe you've just seen some those things, an example is Statham and his Girlfriend (Played to perfection by Amy Smart) having sex in downtown Chinatown and a bunch of Chinese tourists cheering them on. I am impressed with the writers of the movie, they don't take any shortcuts or compromise they just shove it in your face and you are left with this hilarious bunch of great one-liners and scenes you never imagined you would see on film.

I have been and always will be a staunch fan of Jason Statham, I think the guy is funny, and a great actor who can pull off any part he plays, some of his great movies are - Lock,Stock,and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Transporter, Revolver, The Italian Job, Cellular (as the bad dude),
Chaos, War, and the new and equally great The Bank Job, all of his movies are top-notch and I make it my job to watch each new one he does.

I recently heard that they are making a Crank 2 and believe me I will be the first person in the cinema when it comes out.

I love action movies and am a huge fan of any movie that has alot of guns and a cool feel to it, but I've never seen a movie like Crank before and I was so happy that it was made as it changes my perspective on action movies and now I definitely have a higher standard.

One more point, for all the people that didn't like the ending, come on you have to admit you saw it coming, I mean what else where the filmmakers supposed to do? Watch out for the little blink at the very end, a ray of hope.

GO watch Crank, even if you have seen it before because it is a winner in every sense of the word.
