Elliott
Writing notes all night
humming to himself
can't seem to get the grammar straight
needs someone else
she waits for him on the corner
one glance as he passes bye
but he doesn't look, cause no one cares
he doesn't even try
she has his number from a friend
maybe she'll call him
she does but no one picks it up
he's just about to sin
she goes to his house when it's late
to see if hes around
but from inside she hears a scream
he's lying on the ground
the shot she heard was not a car
it had been a handgun
she saw an ambulance pull up
and take out only one
she heard them say he's dead and gone
tears then filled her eyes
the one she loved from the start
left her on that night
she never got to tell him
he never heard her heart
that corner she waited on
is now the hardest part
so don't you ever think about
doing yourself in
it not only hurts those you love
it will hurt her or him

I'll gladly smile as I think of you,
and the little things you sometimes do.
You have touched my heart, my very soul,

I wash, get ready
I long for you...
Coffee and donuts
I long for you...
