There exists a smile
That does not reach the heart
For those who have lost someone
And now are very far apart
There exists a laugh
Where there is no joy in the sound
For those who have lost someone
There is just no joy to be found
There exists a life
That is lived every day with pain
For those who have lost someone
Every day is dark with rain
There exists an ache
Inside a soul that is broken
For those who have lost someone
With a goodbye never spoken
There exists a darkness
Where the light does not ever touch
For those who have lost someone
And miss them so very much
There exists a pain
That is not like any other
For I have lost someone
That someone was my brother

Poetry: Death of a loved one
by Judi B
Heaven Has My Hero Now
Heaven has my hero now,
My life with you is gone.
It's changed in oh, so many ways
But yet continues
"Never"
(In Loving Memory
For my Tattooed Queen)
Taken away before your time,
The debt paid before the crime,
Left but never
The Long Wait
The leaves fell down
Upon the autumn grass;
Frailty in every shade of red...
I sat by the window for a closer
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you
Neither sunrise nor sunset that I don't hear your voice
Or miss your laugh
And
Lights shine off in the distance
Nothing but blackness appears
There is resistance
Death whispers in my ear
He talks of a life
