I was born in 1974 my life has seen many great men and women fighting and dying for many noble causes all across the world. I have seen the end of the Civil Rights Movement in America and many other movements both here and abroad. Though my heart bleeds for the many causes we all fight for my eyes have become to see something else as well, all of these noble causes and movements are in a larger way further dividing the people of our planet. Men and women struggling and fighting to gain or preserve rights are being opposed by other factions that are fighting to preserve different rights, thus progression may be achieved in on or a few areas but in the end the conclusion is a recession to the same state or a worse then previous state of the rights of all parties involved. Let us think of slavery, in one shape or form all of the cultures on earth have been enslaved by another, yet in 2008 after its abolishment in December 6, 1865, the dark face of slavery is still just has alive as it was through history. It merely changes shape or definition. In this country first you must become well educated to become successful in this system has in any country. You go to college or vocational school to become certified in a certain field. Now most of us in the U.S. can not afford to pay higher education costs up front so we are faced with using Federal or private loans and a few grants that may cover a small percentage of the cost. Now the Loans offered by both federal and private means are interest bearing loans in which the interest is accrued daily and compounded monthly. Now this escalating debt starts 2, 4, 6 or 8 years before you even begin to work in your field. This debt though unfair to the student has a function for their future employers. In this age of corporate greed; corporations do credit checks on the new prospective employees, the function behind this tactic is to ascertain the amount a student owes for his or her education and if there are few major debts, than the student is less of a risk to the corporation and discipline is easily maintained through fear of not having an income to cover these still escalating costs. This in it self is a form of indentured servitude,
