"Modern Muslim Fatwa" needs to be defined. Yet, writers over here or in any parts of the world have not defined it clearly enough for ordinary understandings. In my owned view, there should not be any modernity in religious principles and disciplines as long as it is stated in the Holly Quran. In the process of modernizing Islam by some bad luck leaders in Muslim countries around the world, a lot of fateful things had been happening over the last couple of centuries. Modern Muslim Fatwa does not exist. If not, there have been propaganda stories spread around by the Muslim to Non-Muslim affairs for some unknown reasons.

"Islamic Extremism" also needs to be redefined. It has to be defined in terms of its causes. Present day religious educators are no doubt more knowledgeable. The volume of knowledge in the world has increased tremendously due to technology and research. It is very unfortunate rather to say that some people strictly favors our ancestors and try to justify that they would be more knowledgeable. Knowledge is something that we acquire from existence. According to recent researches, the volume of knowledge that was created 20 years back gets doubled in every 5 years in today's context. Can somebody think of this speed? Speed of knowledge creation and transfer rate is amazingly fast moving.

Precisely, the cause for Islamic Extremism is NOT "fatwa" but something else. Today, there have been a lot of propaganda against "Jihad". Some of the Anti-Islamic agencies consider Jihad as of terrorism which in Islam a compulsory requirement in circumstances. People who love Jihad are sometimes considered Islamic extremists. I strongly protest against this set of belief. It is Allah's (SW) promise to grant countless rewards for those who sacrifice life for Janna-th in the process of Jihad. Therefore, why shouldn't we go for Jihad when the situation arises that it makes compulsory for Muslims?

Therefore, present day fatwa is not the cause for Islamic Extremism. In fact, extremism is all about what people lack from their paradigm of thinking, faith, knowledge and wisdom. People with strong faith in Islam would rather love "Jihad". Sometimes, what is considered extremism is not really extremism in Islam. It becomes more like perceptual framework in their minds. Of course, anything and everything is not appreciated in Islam. Here, what I believe to the most important thing is not identifying extremism. It is how we can manage to ease down the problems of so called "Islamic extremism". If at all, extremism exists in the world it's because of all of us. Every single man has to take part to be responsible for the cause and consequences of extremist activities around the world.
