Reflections: What kind of person are you

The kind of person that I am in reality does not begin to touch upon the person that I actually am in reality. The perception of myself may not match what other peoples views of me are. I, like others like me may be biased in my examination of myself as a whole. I will attempt to explain who and what kind of person I am to the rest of the world and be as objective as possible.

I am an introvert. This means I shun social activities with people I do not know well or feel uncomfortable with. I am shy. Shyness to me is the feeling of intense emotional discomfort when placed in a situation or with people that are unknown to me and make me feel uncomfortable.

I am quiet, reserved, and observant. I am more of a watcher when I am with other people than a participant. I am educated, but have a constant yearning to learn more and do more. I dislike noisy, obnoxious people. I despise bullies, gangsters, and creeps. I do not consort with addicts, dealers, or drunks. I refrain from engaging in licentious behavior. I do not harass or harangue others and love to see those that do get theirs. Justice. not revenge, I love to see it happen.

I rarely lie, never cheat, or hurt other people, at least not intentionally or knowingly. I severely dislike people who do do those things. I don't have many real friends, but those that I consider friends are a lot like me. They are honest, quiet, and intellectual. They may love to do exciting and adventurous things. Close friends may even like camping and hiking. I do not engage in malicious speech or conduct about or towards others. I will, however, defend myself when I feel I am being wronged or railroaded.

I love to travel and meet people from all over the world. I was able to travel in my youth and have had many good experiences in Europe and Asia. I have and show respect for the cultures of other people.

My greatest dream is to live in a small town somewhere, in America where older and more traditional values are kept near and dear to peoples hearts. A country life with country values would be the ultimate ticket for me.

My virtues are: honesty, kindness, compassion, gentleness, courage, and love. My virtues are counterbalanced by my least admirable attributes. I am kind and compassionate, but I will not be a fool for anyone or anything. I have courage, but show common sense as well. I am gentle, but can be firm as necessary.

What kind of person am I? I am that person who feels strongly about the rights of people except, at the expense of others. I believe in getting ahead without using others as stepping stones or taking advantage of them. I am the person who would, if I could, live in a wild and wonderful rain forest rather than spend one hour in suburban Ohio.

I am that woman who feels that she's stuck in some kind of cesspool between hordes of criminals and neo-Nazi like crime fighters. When you have difficulty telling the difference between the two, its time to find a better place to live.

I am heterosexual, but still haven't found some one I would be willing to spend the rest of my life with. I like animals and the outdoors. I am creative. I love to write, make things, and play music. I would love to find that special place and that special someone to do my special thing. I still wait for a real home to call my own.
