This is a sequel to another story on Helium I wrote called Sweet Old Sara. I suggest reading that one first.

Every time I Close My Eyes

Jonathan Nester ran toward Scotland Yard in a rush. His new partner, Julia Sheridan, had said that she needed his expertise on the new poet case. Apparently a person was going around killing people, and leaving chilling poems at the scene. The reason Nester was considered an expert on this particular murder, was because of his masters in linguistics and minor in English. He knew the English Language more than any Constable in all of Scotland Yard.

Jon walked quickly past his desk over to Julia's. She had a picture of her late husband, Constable Paul Martello, on her desk. Jon had been the head on the case in which Paul had been killed on. He felt horrible for not being able to help Paul when he needed him most.
"Hi Jon." Julia said. "Pierce's latest massacre was at King's Cross this morning .He killed six people." She led Jon into the Major Case Squad's war room. Inside, there was a big table covered in laptops, folders, and papers plus a big dry erase board with Pierce's poem written on it, word for word, in big red marker. It read:

Off to work to be so busy.
Their names were Harry, Jeff, Jen, Nat, Steve, and Lizzy.
Pierce is related to a former foe.

Jon was thinking. It's like he is talking directly to the police. He definitely is. But what really caught him was the fourth line. It was supposed to. He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on the case. Who could he be related to? But he couldn't concentrate. All he could think about was Jen. His beloved wife of ten years. She was run over six months ago, by a woman named Sandra Stone. Sandra had stalked the now late Prime Minister, and sent weird letters to him. She came up with her own penname, Sarastalker. Jen caught her in the act of writing one of her creepy letters and arrested her. That was why when she broke out she went straight for Jen. Jon had later killed her when he went to try and save the Prime Minister's life, and failed.
Wait a minute. Jon came to a startling conclusion. Sarastalker is probably the biggest case this department has worked in a while. Maybe Pierce is related to Sandra!

Yes, I got away with it! Pierce thought as he drove his sister's old black Jaguar. He pulled into driveway of his flat in London. His sister came out wearing a black scarf over her head, and big
