To all my friends
When I see your face
Smiling and laughing
I feel a peace creep over me
A peace in security
For I know
Whether times be rough
Or times be smooth
You'll stand by me
Through it all
A friend you are
To the truest degree
To the purest form
Clean and clear
Like rain from the clouds
You are the sun
On even the darkest of days
Someone I can always talk to
And look to for counsel
I should say thank you
For everything you have done
For everything you have said
For every time you have been there
I should say thank you a thousand times
But I would just run out of ways
So I shall say it once
Thank you

Poetry: True friends
An acquaintance, brief or long
Is far from being a friend,

Nor ever, ever blend.
How often have we

Friends make us all happy,
some friends make us blue,
but you know a true friend,
is always true to you.

in my sad hours
tis you i look to for comfort
in my happiest hours
You've touched me deep
Within my soul
Where none has gone before.

To myths and lies
That shake me
To my
I felt your nearness as a child
When my world was very cold
When my family was the enemy
When you watched my life unfold
