The Simple Surprise
It came from no where
Fell from the sky
And landed in my lap
Or I landed in its lap
The lap of luxury
I touched it
Gently meeting its needs
Or it touched me
Met my needs
I ripped it off
Took more than I deserved
Or was it me
Did I do the ripping off?
Did I strip it down?
Never stripping down myself
Or was it reversed?
I gave it a kiss
No, I stole a kiss
But it kissed me
It was public
I stole in the public eye
But I enjoyed my kiss
It was only one kiss
But did I take it ruthlessly?
Or did it take the kiss
Stolen or given
The perfect ending
To a simple surprise
