Changes
We work each day
For little or none
We work each day
For only one
The one we work for
Gives us no way
To get ahead
Or to stay
We fall behind
With death and loss
We fall behind
As we turn and toss
The more we loose
The more we fall
Farther and farther
Off the ball
We pass the time
Though out the day
We pass the time
With much to say
What we say
Does us no good
It doesn't even
Buy us food
We tell secrets
In the silence
We tell secrets
In defiance
Many die
For the good of a few
Something must change
It's got to be new
We try to speak
And get turned down
We try to speak
Without going around
What we need to say
Can't be left unsaid
For if we do
We may all end up dead
This is the way
It was meant to be
This is the way
Don't you see
It has been this way
Through out all the age
We much remain calm
And in our cage

A moderator for the future.
A biographer of the past.
Real and inevitable.
