As I sit and dream
As I sit here
Thinking of reasons for life
I contemplate where I fit in the grand scheme of things
At times I know
Things that other people
Wouldn't bother to look for
And at times
I know nothing
I wish I could look
And see where I fit
I know this is
Far out of reach
But I can't help
To dream
To pass time
I let my imagination run wild
One day
I may be a beauty queen
And the next
I can be a nobody
It all depends
Upon what happens
On that page of time
It all depends
Upon what I wish for
I realize
That these are nothing but dreams
That these dreams will never be reality
But I can't help
To dream
Dreams
Just a line of wishes and disappointments

Things that have

Weary eyes are shuttered in a quiet repose,
Consumed by thoughts of the worlds beyond;
Soothing colors and dancing creatures
