I will always be there for you
When you need me
When you don't
When you pull me close
When you push me away

When you close your eyes to the night
When you open them to the morning light
When you whisper softly in my ear
When you yell and scream
I will always be there for you

I will always be there for you
When your smile lights up your face
When the tears fall from your eyes
When you have the world at your feet
When you have fallen from grace

When you need me
When you don't
When you pull me close
When you push me away
I will always be there for you
