Green Magic
In the long days of summer,
A magic appears,
The green of a forest,
A storm of tears.
Blossoming flowers,
The magic of green,
The trees grow tall,
The magic is seen.
The colors of flowers,
The gray of the bark,
A magic's in green,
From light, to dark.
They spread their roots,
Their trunks grow tall,
The leaves grow green,
And show to all.
The birds and bees,
Come to the green,
Drawn by the by the magic,
That can always be seen.
The magic of summer,
The time of the green,
It is a great magic,
That now you have seen.
But in the fall,
The green turns brown,
The leaves fall off,
Down, down, down.
The birds and the bees,
Fly far away,
To look for the magic,
Not here today.
The quiet of winter,
There is no rain,
As we wait for the magic,
To come again.
