Fear is one of the basic human emotions. It is used to keep us alive. It brings us to instant awareness of what danger we may be in. Without fear, mankind would not have survived. Fear is an immediate response. We don't warm up to it. It jumps out of our consciousness, and grabs us by the throat. Our heart-rate goes up, our breathing becomes labored, and our Adrenalin gives us the power for either fight or flight. Fear is the most important emotion we can count on to help us stay safe.

The human animal is very intelligent. We have learned how to survive. We have banded together to create societies and cultures. Together, over time, we have begun to unlock the secrets of the universe. As a group, humans have achieved tremendous heights. As long as our intelligence is pooled, and new discoveries are made that advance the human condition, we move further away from our animal selves, and closer to a spiritual bonding with our fellow man.

There are people in our societies who have learned to strip us of our lofty ideals by bringing us back to our most base nature. What is the fastest way to control us? Or make a point? Or get your way on any issue? SCARE THE HELL OUT OF SOMEONE!

This is what happens when your older sibling wanted your toy. This is why the school bully gets what he wants. You boss controls your job performance. Your spouse controls your home life. Your parents control your behavior.

What do all these people use to control you? Fear. Fear of getting hit, fear of getting into a fist fight, fear of losing your job, fear of getting a divorce, fear of being ostracized.

Terrorism, is taking fear, and magnifying is ten thousand times. Terrorism works. When all else fails, terrorism will not fail. Terrorism can come in little doses, or be so overwhelming that you become inert. Even if momentarily, fear can allow someone else to control you. When you are afraid....you will comply. You may get mad later, but if you are afraid of not surviving, your instincts will take over.

The people who know this will use this against you. This is why terrorism exists.
