I am exactly what they made me
and nothing more or less
I've become what they told me
and now I have no rest
I have conformed into someone
that I do not love
But atleast people talk to me
I'm not alone anymore
I am exactly as they wished
I'm who they molded me to be
All they had to do was laugh
and the transformation was complete
"A child can bounce back"
Or atleast that is what they say
So why does what they said
Affect me still today?
I am nothing but a character
in someone else's play
It's pathetic and I regret it
Yet it's whom I'm doomed to stay

And have for generations.
We are an echo.
We stay
