Harsh Word
What makes a person?
Biology, chemistry,
Psychology, rhythm,
Or style? Perhaps
It's all too simple.
It's the bitter

Avoid joy,
Harbor guilt,
And alienate

We build our Life
On insignificant
Words and phrases
And allow
The oppression
To swallow us
Rather than liberate.
