~Great Christian Movies For Teens~

Believe it or not, there are good movies out there for Christian teenagers. Although there are few, they contain great messages. I have listed a few of the movies below that I have seen and believe Christian teenagers will enjoy. Parents will also enjoy the fact that they are clean and empty of society's influence.

~Prophecy/End Times Movies~

If you have ever read the Left Behind book series written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, you have to see these movies. Starring actor Kirk Cameron, the three movies are about being left behind when Jesus returns for His own. They depict a real life scenario of what it would be like to be an unbeliever left behind on earth amidst the chaos and confusion that will surround the second coming. I believe that all three of these movies are great options for Christian teenagers because they are clean, biblical, and great reminders on how we should live everyday for Christ. Other end times/prophecy movies are The Moment After I and II, Six, and Revelation.

~Christian Thrillers~
Authors Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti have teamed up to make four unforgettable movies revolving around spiritual warfare. Although they are on the scarier side, Christian teenagers would enjoy being on the edge of their seats while watching Hangman's Curse, Thr3e, House, and The Visitation. These movies will remind them of the many different avenues Satan takes in trying to sway Christians from Christ. Other great Christian thrillers include Unidentified and The Last Sin Eater.

~Inspirational Films ~
An all around great family movie, Facing the Giants touches on my different Christian principles and makes for good entertainment. Although this movie is on the more serious side of things, teenagers will gain great insight to the struggles that everyone comes across in life and how God helps us through each and every one. Other inspirational films include Something to Sing About and The Ride.

~Action and Adventure~
Apocalypse, a clean, exciting action-drama for Christian teenagers, features award-winning journalists caught in a frantic race against time to alert the world of a deadly deception. Other action and adventures include Cry From The Mountain, Escape From Hell and The Final Exit.
