ITS ALL ABOUT CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT; NOT ONLY TEACHER EFFECTIVENESS
BUT ALSO ADMINISTRATION

A secondary school without classroom troublemakers is not an ideal school for ideal 21st century teachers to work in. Look at the world around, you see countless number of things within the environment in which you live in. What's the big deal? It has to be like that to make life possible on earth. Everything that we see is not pleasant as we expect them to be.

Just let's consider one period in a secondary classroom, within the duration of let's say 35 minutes you will necessarily many different things happening in that environment. Anybody who does not expect this many stores happening in the classroom would be a total mess.

1. Who are troublemakers in classroom?

This is again a trouble! Different teachers consider different things as troubles. Therefore, one troublemaker is not a so called " troublemaker" for another teacher. What does this actually mean? It is nothing but your effort to succeed. We know of many stories that the "bad boy" turns around into a "good boy". Who is that teacher to turn the boy around? That it is you and who is with vision and hopes. Whoever who has knowledge and wisdom to be patient in dealing with the so called " troublemakers". Some bad luck teachers just try to achieve 100% silence in the classroom. It is not just a right decision. Students are human beings. Human beings are similar but different therefore unique. We cannot expect everybody to behave exactly in the same way. Because they are not physically or psychologically meant for that. School time is just a fraction of their time so they will have a lot of experience throughout the day and they will need to talk about that with their friends. School mates are their best friends in life. They need to exchange their stories. Obviously, it is not at all a problem. Dear teachers, they so called "students" will be talking in the classroom even while you are explaining something very serious. They are not "empty buckets".

2. Incorrigible troublemakers

It is also stupid to attempt to correct everybody. If that is possible there would not be any bad people in the world. If you look at the world around, you will see every kind of people. Where do they come from? Simply from our families. Of course, some people can be rehabilitated into meaningful citizens. Others go ashtray. That is the distance we have from perfection.

3. Little things grow larger

Teachers are expected to have four eyes which means the teachers should know what is happening from behind. The little things that you ignore at times could grow rapidly and get intensified into larger and serious issues. If you fail to give the right treatment at the right time to the right patient you will mess up the whole game, at the end of the day. Therefore, little things are to be taken care of like the way you attempt to deal with major issues.

4. Troublemakers are intelligent

In most cases, troublemakers are above average of intelligence. So, we have to be very careful not to let them waste out their gifted intelligence. It is the duty of the teachers, administrators and parents to turn them into valuable human assets. Naughty comes from braveness. A stupid cannot cheat a person.

Hello teachers, please please please share your classroom problems with other teachers. The professional relationship is very important. When you just fail one lesson plan do not isolate yourself from the team into corners to worry. Cheers! Keep it up! Teaching is a holly work. We all must appreciate teachers for their contribution to humanity and national development.
