Poetry: Magical lands

by Dane Isaacs

Created on: May 01, 2008

A world exists where the normal is not so normal
In which conventional is anything but
Yet tread likely for only wisdom will help you here

In this realm that which you say can not be, is
Here, when things go bump in the night, we check twice
Yet it's not all bad

What would you give to fly across the morning sunset?
What would you give to swim in the deepest ocean?
Yet this is precisely why I love this particular realm

These lands are still lived in by people
And like any other people
No magic can replace our homes
