I felt lonely the other day
As if I had no one to talk to-
Jesus took the time to listen.

I felt tired and fed up of things,
As if I was getting tired of living life-
Jesus took the time to help me see my many blessings.

When I was frustrated and angry
Didn't know which way to turn-
Jesus took the time to lead me in the right direction.

With people busy with their jobs, families, friends, and their own problems,
Jesus took the time with me, to talk to me, listen to me
And help me through my problems through selfless acts of others.

And now when I feel someone who is alone, and needs a friend to talk listen
I remember how Jesus took the time for me,
And I make an effort to make time for others.
