Daddy's girl seems so far this is another way to go
I seem to remember when I was young the way I used to laugh and run
Those days are gone and so are you
why did you leave so fast and far no place to run or go
didn't you know when you left that i was still your little girl
All grown up now I still would think back to that time and place when it was OK to laugh and sing when you and mom had love it seemed.
Those nights I couldn't sleep you would sing in my ear so sweet
and dancing on your feet in the living room I was to short to reach even though your gone I'm still your little girl all grown
Now when we talk it seems nothing is the same we hang up the phone and cry in silence of our hearts that bleed from the pain that you caused me.

so many nights have gone by since you kissed mom goodbye, I was her heart and strength while you left us here to think it made me realize there is no hope in sight those long nights I would cry to many times I wished you where hear by my side.
