Website reviews: Scrapbook.com

As a beginning scrapbooker, I have found myself searching the internet hoping to find tips and ideas. I was very pleasantly surprised when I found scrapbook.com.

Other sites that I have found seemed very cluttered and were hard for a novice to use. On many of those sites, the tips and ideas I found were beyond my capabilities. The first thing I noticed when I logged onto scrapbook.com is that it is a busy website that is, it has lots of buttons and places to click which I thought might make it hard to use. I found, however, that it is very well organized and it is easy to find information.

I have enjoyed using the forum because it is broken down into sections such as beginning scrapbooking (my favorite, naturally), and cardmaking as well as other categories. That makes it very easy to find information quickly.

This site also has many free features which I found lacking on other scrapbooking sites. There are articles, quotes and other free resources to get you started. I find this very appealing because you never know when you start a new hobby if it is one that you will enjoy enough to pursue long term. Having the freebies to use while starting eases the investment just in case you decide scrapbooking is not for you.

The blogs are very informative also. There are so many people with such great ideas and this site makes it easy to connect with them and benefit from their experiences.

Of course, there are many ways to order supplies for your scrapbooking needs. The items that can be ordered from the site seem to be of excellent quality and very reasonably priced. I did online price checks on a few of the items, and found that the site offers very competitive prices. The e-books were an area where the prices were extremely reasonable and of course, it is a quick way to get a book that will help.

Overall, the site is very visually appealing. It is well organized and easy to use even for a beginner. The video demos make it easy to incorporate the ideas. I would rate this site a 4 out of 5. Go check it out for yourself and let the scrapbooking begin!
