I am what some people would call a freelance missionary.
I travel around the world and America helping people out and trying to make a difference.
I am also a guy and as most guys can relate we want to show off our good looking bodies, right? Well what happens if you don't have a good looking body and you are traveling so much that you never really have time to get a gym membership in a city, because the longest you are there for is one month.
Well you do what I do and you do it all the time, rain or shine. It really isn't all that complicated and it builds the same muscles that you would build if you where going to the gym every day, it's a simple workout I put together and since I started it not only has my body shaped perfectly and my muscles are bulging, but I have had more stamina and I feel good all the time.
Everyone can make their own on-the-road exercise plan, mine is 4 sets of 20 reps of push-ups, 4 sets of 10 sets of pull-ups (whenever I have the good fortune of having a pull-up bar that is), 5 sets of 25 sit-ups (There are alot of variations of the sit-ups and there is no definite right one so it is up to you which one to do), I do about 5 sets of 20 squats as well, and then do about 15 minutes of all sorts of stretches, stretches are very important as it releases all the acids from your muscles and makes the healing process easier and faster. I also run for about 30 minutes every other day. The exercises above I do every day but for some of you it is not a problem if you start out with doing them every other day, as at the beginning it can be pretty hard especially if your not used to exercise like that.
I know your probably thinking this sounds like some sort of army workout and in a way it is because it utilizes some of the basic strength building exercises, but it is something very simple to do and if you do them on a constant repetitive basis you will see results fast, my arm muscles have doubled in size since I started. Another positive part about my workout is that if you do it right it only takes up about 45 minutes of your time(excluding the running obviously) and you can do it first thing in the morning or last thing at night, and the best thing about it is all it requires is your body and your willingness to get that perfect body that you deserve. Swimming is also a great additional option if you have the facilities for it, as it is a full body workout, and stamina builder, and cardio all at the same time. I would suggest you to swim freestyle for about 20 minutes a day.
Remember the reps vary from person to person you can do more or less or advance every week it doesn't really matter, as long as it works for you.
