My kids first experience with spinach was this dip recipe. I have also had success getting spinach haters to try and most like this simple and tasty recipe. This is the most requested dish and no family get together is complete without it.
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
10 ounce package frozen chopped spinach
5 ounces chopped dried beef
1/2 cup chopped green onion (may be reduced or omitted)
1 tablespoon dill weed (add more if desired)
Thoroughly blend together the cream cheese and mayonnaise. Stir in remaining ingredients until combined. Although this is delicious at any time, letting to set in the refrigerator overnight will improve the flavor. Serve with crackers and/or raw vegetables.
