Walking with God along this weary road
Helping me to carry my heavy load
As long as He is with me I know I'll be fine
Walking in the light with the Heavenly Divine
I carry my cross but you take it from me
That is the way You said it had to be
So I give it to You and honor your name
To myself there is no fortune or fame
Today I give my heart and soul to God
He will assure me of the steps I shall trod
He will never leave me lonely or sad
He's the best friend I've ever had
Walking with God is a wonderful thing
At some times I hear angels sing
Walking with God through out eternity
What a joyful and happy time that shall be
