Want to be a hero?

To be a hero, for your family for the legacy you want to leave behind. Is that what a hero is a person who did what he/she needed to do and is remembered for it in the generations to come.

For that to be the case, takes planning, and taking risks to do somethig spectacular. To do something that will make a wonderful difference in your families life, to be a hero that seems to be a prerequisite.

The process in becoming a hero to any one individual starts with the person in the mirror making a quality decision to make a difference, and then planning out the first steps, to the springboard of change. What is something you want to do, what is the one dream you may of forgotten about in so many years? Rekindle it, rebuild the fire that once was and never really faded out completely. It may of dimmed but a dream that is felt at the core of your being, never really is completely blanked out. May take some digging to remember it, once you do, though you can take the next step.

The next step is quite simple, once the dream is remembered and some fuel is put in the fire, to bring back that warm glow, of something you have wanted to do in all the years you have had the opportunity to be a part of this earth, something that will be remembered for the many generations yet to come. The fire is burning nice, the dream is becoming once more clear, what next? Well get yourself a piece of paper and a pencil and write it down. To put something in writing reinforces the idea that you will get it done.

Once you have the goal in writing, the next step is to put together a plan of attainment, with smaller goals leading to the next stepping stone. Start with just days and weeks, set the goals for the week, and set checkpoints along the way. By no means is this a definitive list, it is the framework, one which can be modified and improved. The framework of a foundation, a point of reference, a solid mass you can stand on and build upon. To build a house, requires a solid foundation, without a solid foundation you may as well build the home on sand. Establish your base plan, for today, for this week, and start now, even if it is the smallest thing just get started, the most difficult step, though also the most important.

Well your doing good, you rekindled the fire, wrote down the objective, and established the framework, coming along quite nicely. Once you have got started it is far easier to focus on the next step. In establishing the weekly goals, and breaking it down to daily effort,
