As more lean muscle tissue is formed your bodies' endurance will naturally increase. Activities such as laundry and caring for children will become less tiresome. Stamina becomes heightened allowing for a more youthful feel. As your aesthetic appearance improves so will your physiological well being. Muscle tone allows the body to age more gracefully as it assists in slowing down the inevitable "sagging process". Improving or sustaining flexibility will also assist maintaining sexual ability.

Strength training also helps combat the onset of depression through higher levels of oxygenated blood and the release of endorphins "the feel good hormone". Through improved cardiac function and better blood circulation cholesterol is lowered. The risk of coronary disease is also decreased through lower blood pressure. Studies also show that it may help reduce the onset of diabetes through increasing the use of glucose in the body.
As women including strength training into our lifestyle is a very black and white situation. It should be included as an integral factor for every woman who is looking to attain the most from life. As strength training does not place large amounts of stress upon the body (working against your own natural resistance) you are never too old to commence improving the quality of your life. For woman across the world strength training is no longer an exercise to be ignored.
