The benefits of strength training for women

I feel there is many benefits in strength training for women.

I joined the gym about five months ago and have taken some classes with trainers. They time and time again say that strength training is very important for womens health because a women's body goes through a lot of changes.

The changes start from becoming a women to having babies and getting older. Our bodies goes through a lot of changes. These changes for our bodies get easier when you take care of it.

The ways you can take care of you body is eating habits, exercising, plenty of rest, and not be stressful all the time.

To build strength training it is not only one machine. You have to make up your own fitness goals. These goals first of all is what you want your body to look like. Do you want to lose weight, toning, or gain strength.

After you know what you want to accomplish than you need to have a plan on the type of exercise. I usually try to tone all of my muscles and body parts. I try to use different machines and do different exercises. Some time I do a dynamic class which does strength training as well as toning at the same time. In this particular class there are different equipment used. For example there is a exercise ball, weights, and step ladder.

The most important is before you use any equipment or machines you can always consult a trainer and they can help you set a goal and meet the goals you set together. Another option is find a friend and work out with that person. You can see the time goes quicker and you will not believe how much exercise you have completed in a short amount of time.

So the strength training is important for women so there would not be any problems later on as we get older. I have also read health magazines and seen on TV the benefits of strength training. I can feel the difference within five months since I joined the gym. When I started I could not lift weights more than 15 pounds now I can lift up to 40 pounds. I can feel the difference not only losing weight but I am stronger all day. I can accomplish a lot of work and can do a lot of lifting and not get tired or burned out. You can feel within a week the strength you gain.

After all the changes we women go through don't you think we deserve a little bit of pampering for ourselves. It only takes short amount of time in a day to feel good for yourself. You will gain a better atitiude towards family and friends.
