There are all sorts of great things to do in Toronto, Canada. A veritable hub of activity, Toronto is a diverse city that is rife with people, customs, cultures, activities, and tourism. For people looking to entertain themselves for any length of time, Toronto is home to many great things to do and see.

Canada's largest and most recognizable city is filled with educational, historical, theatrical, and athletic endeavours to partake in for all walks of life, all ages, and all socio-economic ranges. Great things to do in Toronto, Canada, are in over-abundance. Boasting a stunning view of Lake Ontario, this lake-front metropolis is blossoming into one of the most popular destinations in North America.

The city of Toronto, located in the Province of Ontario, is the pulse of Canada. Comparable in its own right to New York in terms of its size and atmosphere, Toronto is a multicultural city that is home to several million people.

In and amongst the local clientele, there are places like little Chinatown, and a veritable pot-pourri of things to see and do. Scaling the CNTower, North America's largest free standing structure, gives you quite the vantage point over top of the city. The impressive landscape of the city of Toronto is breathtaking from this dizzying height.

While visiting Toronto, there are many splendid and exciting things to do, running the gamut from entertainment to sports to culturally rich day trips. Toronto, which is the Capital of Ontario, is home to a large population, and that population is laden with a vast variety of cultures, giving Toronto a truly multicultural feel.

Depending on your budget, and the size and age group of your party, Toronto will be able to offer lots of fun and exciting things to see and do.

Toronto is home to many world class sports venues, as all of the major sports are represented. Major League Baseball's World Series has been claimed by the Toronto Blue Jays twice, in succession in the early 1990's. The Toronto Maple Leafs are second all time in Stanley Cup victories to the Montreal Canadiens, and the Toronto Raptors continue to be competitive in the National Basketball Association.

The Toronto Argonauts are a very successful team in the Canadian Football League, the National Football League is exploring Toronto as an option for an NFL team, and pro soccer has recently come to Toronto. If sports are your thing, then the season is irrelevant, as there will be a major sporting event occurring within the city limits.
