The Toronto Maple Leafs are second all time in Stanley Cup victories to the Montreal Canadiens, and the Toronto Raptors continue to be competitive in the National Basketball Association.

The Toronto Argonauts are a very successful team in the Canadian Football League, the National Football League is exploring Toronto as an option for an NFL team, and pro soccer has recently come to Toronto. If sports are your thing, then the season is irrelevant, as there will be a major sporting event occurring within the city limits.
