Visiting Niagara Falls

theme park and aquarium located at Marineland or your children may never forgive you.

Friendship Cove is where you can see the orcas (killer whales) jumping and splashing. There's also an observation platform in this area so you can see the whales as they move below the water's surface.

Arctic Cove caters to viewing the lovable beluga (white) whales. There are touching and feeding sessions throughout the day. There are many platforms where you can go to see these beautiful whales from various vantage points, including underwater viewing panels.

There's always some kind of entertaining show being performed at the King Waldorf Stadium, whether featuring dolphins, walruses, or sea lions. The shows are sure to fill you with awe while making you laugh. If you sit close to the tank, you may be a little wet when the show is over.

There's wildlife to be seen such as bears, buffalo, and elk, among others. You can also feed and pet deer, if you wish.

Numerous amusement park rides are contained inside Marineland, catering to children as well as thrill seekers. The world's largest steel roller coaster is located in Marineland, spanning over 30 acres with 1163 feet of the ride going through tunnels.

Clifton Hill
Located just a block from the falls, Clifton Hill is a place to check out. There are restaurants and fast food joints, but there is so much going on that you'll want to be part of it. Check out the well-lit area and experience such places as Ripley's Believe It or Not, Ripley's Moving Theatre, the Skywheel, Movieland Wax Museum, and Dinosaur Park, among others. It's a place you won't forget because it awakens your senses and makes you feel alive.

Bird Kingdom
The world's largest indoor, free-flying aviary. The multi-level rainforest is home to over 400 birds from around the world. Don't be surprised if a bird decides to sit on your shoulder, or even your cap.

Butterfly Conservatory
Located within the boundaries of the Botanical Gardens, the conservatory - catering to 2,000 butterflies - measures 11, 000 square feet. There are paths to walk around, totaling about 600 feet, while visitors pass by a pond and waterfall. The Emergence window can also be seen where butterflies prepare to fly for the first time.

Skylon Tower
If you're not afraid of heights, be sure to check it out. The view of the falls and Niagara River is magnificent from this vantage point. You can see the falls by day and return later to see them at night - all lit up. It's absolutely beautiful!

Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens
One hundred acres of maintained gardens drawing about 750,000 visitors a year. An afternoon will provide a glimpse of the various garden varieties present but it would take days, possibly a week, to see everything there is to see within the Botanical Gardens.

Niagara Parks Floral Clock
As the name states, the face of the clock is built out of flowers and is approximately 40 feet in diameter - a stunning display!
