We planted them with love
into what we hoped was fertile ground
Watering them daily
their roots grew abound
Some weeds came up around them
it seemed from time to time
Tried to chock our little seedlings
but we plucked them and washed our hands of the grime
In the light of God they grew
absorbing in his rays of love
Growing and growing and growing
cultivated from above
The seeds have grown into trees now
hopefully solid in every way
Did we give them everything they needed
so that they may never fall and firmly stay?
Our children will plant their own seeds one day
may they do so with love and care
Please God bless their plantings
so that they may grow in your flowing air

A seed for
