If only everyone could attend
to the little things in life,
then we will all be contend
and end the human strife.
"Good day madam, may I help?"
"AAAAAHH," she gives out a yelp.
You see courtesy is a thing of the past,
as we bustle about and manners don't last.
It only takes one gentleman, to offer his seat
to the pregnant lady and the others will follow suit.
Yeah, it is the little things in life
that make us want to laugh.
We read in the paper
that someone pulled another caper,
When will it end?
When we can stop to pretend?
Yes, it is only the little things
that heartfelt, honest humanity brings,
Allowing us all to live as kings.
So please let us venture forth and do those LITTLE THINGS.
